SF Date Night

Hey Hey guys, I've missed you all so much. I wanted to get a few more posts up but I couldn't find time, grrrr...So anywho...

I've been watching a lot of chick flicks lately...no reason at all, I just really like those romantic comedies. Anyway, have you noticed how the main characters always seem to go to the coolest places with their friends? or on dates? or just have awesome apartments? Man, seriously sometimes I wish my life were like a movie...I wouldn't have to worry about my hair, makeup, money...and there'd always be a good looking guy longing for my love.

Well, while that happens, I found a few fun places in San Francisco. If any of you have heard or been to these, feel free to comment about them :)

The Candy Bar
http://www.candybarsf.com/

This place is focused solely on desserts and fun cocktails. According to reviews, it's a great place for date night, birthdays, anniversaries, girls night out, etc.  Chef Cathleen Li likes to rotate her menu so there's always something new :)

Academy of Sciences Nightlight
http://www.calacademy.org/events/nightlife/

Academy of Sciences is probably not one of the first things that comes to mind for a date night option BUT from what I've heard from friends and read online, it seems like Academy of Sciences is pretty fun on Thursday nights. There's cocktail happy hour, events, etc. Check it out, you might be surprised.

Mas Sake
http://massake.com/

I went here with a few of my gals and it was so fun. Sushi is great, sake bombs are yum! and the music gives it an upbeat feel. AND it's in the marina area so it's near Matrix, Circa, etc. which are really fun places to hit up in SF too :)

Look, even Brian Wilson goes to Mas Sake! :)

XO,
AP
